On the other hand, Helen Stoner wears a pale pink coat whose sleeves are straight. Is it because of her being a chemistry teacher who values practicality? Mrs. Hudson wears a black dress whose sleeves are puffed also. White shawl collar and bow of this dress makes her look charming. she wears an apron while she is on duty.

パペット版の衣装それぞれがかわいらしくて好きです。特にアドラー先生の細身のエプロンやケープ、バッグなど細かいところまで。原作のアイリーン・アドラーは妖艶な女性のイメージでしたが男装もしているのでこういう細身のキャラクターになったのかなと思います。ハドソン夫人のレースのエプロンもかわいいですね。
パフスリーブといえば「赤毛のアン」が着たいと言っていたことを思い出します。アンは孤児だったから、流行の布地がたくさん必要なデザインのドレスは着られなかったのだろうと思いながら読んでいたことを思い出しました。
