In the series, some male teachers as Deputy Headmaster Moriarty and Godfrey Norton wear frock coats. This type of coat was worn by men in Victorian Age but after that it became to be replaced by morning coat. Deputy Headmaster Moriarty is dressed smartly in his black coat and gray waist coat and it suits him well while Godfrey Norton' style creates a soft atmosphere.
