On the 11th of December, Japanese internationals who played in last World Cup walked in a parade in Tokyo to thank the fans who support them. Their play really had a "huge impact" on Japanese rugby and fans. And it was impressive that Fumiaki Tanaka, an experienced scrum half shed tears during the parade. The man who was nicknamed "Baby Assasin" by John Kirwan, former head coach of Japan now has two children and makes a reputation for himself. After 8 years of preserving efforts includes playing for the Highlanders, he finally attained his goal but he said that he would keep doing his best.

Shunsuke Nunomaki who made his debut as a member of the Brave Blossoms in 2016 announced that he would play for the SunWolves this year. He thanked the officials of the Panasonic Wild Knights to have allowed him play in Super Rugby and he hoped to brush up his skill by playing for the team. He was one of the World Cup commentators of J SPORTS joined the Blossoms after their match against Scotland to praise the players.
