Jamie Joseph, head coach of Japan named the squad for the Rugby World Cup on the 29th of August at Sakura-no-ma (Cherry Blossom room) in the Imperial Hotel.

The selection of Takuya Kitade who is uncapped is unexpected.

If Japan reach top 8 at the World Cup, every player will receive 1,000,000 yen (about 10,000 US dollars) as bonus respectively.

And HAKUHŌ Shō, yokozuna of Ō-zuｍō (Grand Sumō) who is from Mongolia encourages Michael Leitch, captain of Japan. Hakuhō makes friends with Leitch who plans to make Mongolian youths play rugby at his old school Sapporo Yamanote High School in Hokkaido. I once saw the yokozuna enjoyed watching the test of Japan at prince Chichibu Stadium on TV.

『西郷どん』復習の投稿をアップしている一方で、『鎌倉殿の13人』の感想も書いています。そしてパペットホームズの続編ですが、これも『鎌倉殿の13人』終了後に三谷氏にお願いしたいところです。

他にも国内外の文化や歴史、刑事ドラマについても、時々思い出したように書いています。ラグビー関連も週1またはそれ以上でアップしています。2019年、日本でのワールドカップで代表は見事ベスト8に進出し、2022年秋には強豪フランス代表、そしてイングランド代表との試合も予定されています。そして2023年は次のワールドカップ、今後さらに上を目指してほしいものです。
