Rugby in Japan 8

Japan will play against Fiji at Kamaishi Recovery Memorial Stadium, Iwate on the 27th of July. It is one of the matches of the Pacific Nations Cup. The football stadium was built in Kamaishi after having been damaged by tsunami in 2011 and will be used in this year's World Cup also.

In the second episode of "No Side Game", Hayato Kimishima appoints Takuma Saimon, his classmate in his university days as the head coach of the Astros. Takuma is a man who made Jōnan University rugby team win the university championships three times. However his style was opposed by the alumni society of the university and was dismissed. Takuma accepts Hayato's offer and writes the letters to each players in which how they should play and what they should do to improve their play are described. So players agree with his appointment with unanimity. Then Takuma plans to have many practice games and training camps to strengthen the team but Hayato says it will go over the budget. Takuma, Hayato and Taē Sakura who supports Hayato decide to dismiss professional players to realise the plan. On the other hand, Hayato introduces his son Hiroto to playing rugby and tells him the possibility of win in rugby that Takuma told him.

Takuma Saimon (Ryōhei Ōtani, left), Hayato Kimishima (Yō Ōizumi, centre) and Taē Sakura (Reina Sasamoto, right) talks about how to strengthen the Astros within the limited budget
