Masashi Ebara who voices Deputy Headmaster Moriarty says that he is too idealistic for his age in Memorial Book. He also says that the deputy headmaster and Holmes are in common in the respect and it may be one of the reasons why he tries to make a school system as he wishes.
He continues it's true that Moriarty admits Holmes but he should not allow him to go beyond the limit, according to his policy. And he adds that it was easy for him to perfect his role for Koichi Yamadera who voices Holmes played the character in negativistic age well. Besides Ebara admires Koki Mitani who sets a character of Moriarty who shows Holmes and Watson real world and make them consider how to deal with it by themselves.
