Employees of Kohaze-ya
Toshimitsu Yasuda (Haruka Uchimura)
A mid-career employee of Kohaze-ya who is keen on making Rikuoh. He is caring also and sometimes mediates between Kōichi and other employees.
Genzō Tomishima (Kōtarō Shiga)
A managing director who is charge of accounting. He doesn't welcome Kōichi's project because the third president of Kohaze-ya (Kōichi's father) tried to do a same thing but in vain.
Sewing Staff
Misaki Nakashita (Ayako Yoshitani)
The youngest member of the sewers. She learns how to not only how to sew tabi but how a member of society should do at Kohaze-ya.
Yoneko Mizuhara (HARU Yasuko)
An experienced sewer who assists Akemi Masaoka who leads the sewers. She also takes care of her fellow workers.
Fukuko Nishii (SHŌJI Terue)
The eldest member of the sewers and knows the previous president well. Needless to say, she has known Kōichi since his childhood. She has a chronic heart disease.
Yoshiko Hashii (Yoriko Kamimura)
An inspiring person and speaks in a loud voice. She sometimes insists on an opinion to Kōichi.
Akemi Masaoka (Sawako Agawa)
A high-spirited leading sewer who has great skill and is responsible also. Even Tomishima admits her superiority. She usually joins the meeting and drinking parties at Soramame, Kōichi's favourite izakaya (Japanese style bar).
